Privacy Policy
Effective May 9, 2026. This policy explains how 11th Hour collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the 11th Hour application, website, APIs, and related services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to 11th Hour services that link to it. It does not apply to third-party services that may be linked from the app, such as authentication providers, code hosting platforms, social networks, payment processors, or project websites. Those services handle information under their own policies.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account and profile information: name, email address, avatar, profile handles, location, public links, contributor interests, capabilities, project ownership details, and onboarding responses.
- Project and collaboration content: project names, descriptions, tags, requirements, match decisions, proof records, messages, intro notes, and other content you submit or choose to share.
- AI interaction data: prompts, responses, feedback, generated recommendations, tool traces, and other information needed to provide assistant features and improve matching quality.
- Technical and usage information: device and browser information, IP address, log data, pages viewed, timestamps, feature usage, diagnostics, cookies, and similar technologies.
- Information from connected or public sources: public GitHub, LinkedIn, X, website, or similar links you provide, plus information those services make available under your settings and their terms.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and administer accounts, profiles, projects, proof records, and inbox conversations;
- match contributors with projects and project owners with potential contributors;
- provide AI-assisted recommendations, onboarding, summaries, and next-step guidance;
- operate, secure, debug, analyze, and improve the services;
- communicate about account, product, security, legal, and support matters;
- detect abuse, enforce our terms, protect users, and comply with legal obligations.
4. AI Features
11th Hour may process prompts, profile data, project data, proofs, and other submitted content through internal systems or third-party AI providers to deliver assistant and matching features. Do not submit secrets, private keys, regulated health data, financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive information unless we explicitly provide a supported workflow for that data. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before relying on them.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information:
- with other users according to product functionality, such as profiles, project details, proof signals, match decisions, and messages you send;
- with service providers that host, secure, authenticate, analyze, process, or support the services;
- with AI, infrastructure, database, analytics, email, and support vendors acting on our behalf;
- during a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of business assets;
- when required by law, legal process, government request, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- with your direction or consent, including when you connect third-party accounts or share links.
We do not sell personal information for money. If a privacy law treats certain analytics, advertising, or cross-context data sharing as a “sale” or “sharing,” we will provide required opt-out controls when those activities apply.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve the services. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some technologies may affect core functionality.
7. Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and preserve legitimate business records. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or profiling activities where applicable. To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may verify your request and may deny it where permitted by law.
9. Children
The services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
10. International Users
11th Hour is operated from the United States. If you access the services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by reasonable means, such as through the services or by email. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact 11th Hour at info@11th.network or through our X profile. This policy is intended as a practical baseline and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch or commercial use.
